Kitching Walker Solicitors have been serving families and businesses across Ryedale for over 50 years. As a long-established local firm, we are proud that much of our work comes from repeat clients and personal recommendations.

Meet the Team
Lesley Temple
Lesley Temple started working at Kitching Walker in 1967, qualified as a solicitor in 1972 and has worked at the office throughout her career. She now specialises in Wills.
Lesley has seen many changes at the office over her long career but is now able to enjoy more leisure time including socialising with friends. She has always taken a keen interest in local affairs in Kirkbymoorside and Cropton, a nearby village where she lives.
Stuart Temple
Stuart is a Partner at Kitching Walker. He specialises in all areas of residential conveyancing, including sales, purchases, transfer of equities and re-mortgages. He also acts on the purchase and sales of development sites.
Stuart is local to the area and has been with the firm since 2006, returning to Ryedale after a decade away spent at university and working as a solicitor in Darlington.
He is Chairman of Kirkbymoorside Tennis Club. Outside of work he enjoys cycling to work, films and attending music concerts.
Sally Harrison
Sally is a solicitor specialising in residential property matters including sales, purchases and remortgages of freehold and leasehold properties. She also has many years' experience in advising on family, cohabitation and divorce law.
Sally has been practising since 1992 and has been with Kitching Walker since 1996. Outside of work she enjoys being out with her dogs and attending live music concerts.
Fiona J Wray
Fiona qualified as a solicitor in 1992 originally practising in Private Client. She later specialised in litigation including disputed estates, insolvency, and serious and fatal accidents. She has since returned to wills, inheritance and powers of attorney.
Outside of the office she enjoys spending time walking her Labrador dogs.
Paula Parkin
Paula is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, qualifying in 2013. She works within the wills and probate department and has extensive knowledge of wills, trusts, LPAs and probate.
Paula studied and trained locally and has strong knowledge of the area. She joined Kitching Walker in 2014. Outside of work she is busy bringing up her young family.
